Ken's Deputy 4,463
Bushnell Trophy. I've just left some bait out and wanted to see what took it. Got a sequence of small stuff dancing about. Bait sat there. Next clip was no bait, and the fox wandering around, away from where the bait had been. What control need I look for, please, to make the video fire faster. I don't want to end up with a load of arse end clips!

Still pictures will trigger quicker than video mate also putting a rock or marker in front the camera will get animals to stop sniff and have a wee the more that mark it the busier it will get
Ken's Deputy 4,463
Cheers, mate. Yeah. My bait's working fine, for bringing the buggers. It's just that they're, basically, walking up. Scoffing the bait. Then, the fukking camera's Finally waking up and filming as they wander on! I've got cracking footage, from this afternoon. Fukking brazen little thing! She comes right up to my gate and has a good sniff round where the dogs peer out! Fukking incredible! I've been studying the manual and, apparently, there's two possibilities? One is the Sensor sensitivity. The other I've forgotten! But, I sat here and adjusted them to what sounded best. I couldn't be arsed to go back out there in this freezing, frosty cold. But, tomorrow, I'll put it out again. Pointing away from my property so I might show any results. Can't show todays stuff. But, it's only a fukking fox, after all. No one's missing anything. By the way, as we're talking cam's? Just grabbed a box of Forty Eight 'Energiser' AA's, off Amazon. Thirteen and half quid!!! Limited offer! Fukk me, I could film a motorway for a week at that price, just for fun! Oh yeah. One other thing? You know how it tends to first film you, setting it and walking away? Filmed myself coming to fetch it in. O M F G!!! I see this shambling wreck, like something out of " Plague of the Zombie Hillbillies " or something! Couldn't recognise myself! The fukk have I become?! 1
Greyman 32,535
I get lots of horror shots of myself stumbling through the undergrowth, bit of bad news have only had a couple of bushels and they have all played up after a few weeks outdoors so don’t use them for that reason

Mind of a young man. Then have the stark regality revealed, in glorious technicolour! Tell me; Do you Grunt as you fukk about altering the angle and so forth? I grunt and humph like a good'n! Swear to god I think I'm working in perfect silence, at the time, though! It's so fukking embarrassing!
Ken's Deputy 4,463
Here we go. Just as an exercise in doing things, I've managed to crop the video so's to not show my property to this place. Here's my little mate. Having scarfed down the day old chicks I'm trying to lure other shit with! I dunno. Bought a 10Kg box of them. Big Mistake! It's like having a fukking suit case blocking up my little freezer! Barely get the dogs meat in there now! Might as well become the eccentric old hermit who feeds the fukking foxes now!
Squirrel_Basher 17,102
Set time delay to 3 second intervals .Aint rocket science mate .
Ken's Deputy 4,463
According to the manual, that would basically get me a constant barrage of 'new' clips of the fox all the time it's in coverage.
Squirrel_Basher 17,102
That’s what cams do mate .You are stuck between an arse end and plenty of sortable pics .You can’t have both .Disregard the battery life if you want quality pics .GM s cams are set so as to maximise battery life . If arse end shots are your thing set it to default .

Ken's Deputy 4,463
Well, That was fukking grim! This morning, I went for LOW. Low sensitivity. Low beam. Chick bait vanished - eventually .... (I'm just not convinced yet that the cam doesn't bother the crows! I never seem to see one when this is stuck to a fence post. Can birds see Infra Red? What's it with that 'Bird Fire' gel? Anyone?) Just brought it in? Great shots of me, basically putting it out and getting it back! Fukk all else! Now, I've set it to High, on both scores. Let's see. Oh, and for FD; This model only goes down to 10 sec intervals. And batteries? I laugh at batteries! Just bought four dozen of the fukking things!
Ken's Deputy 4,463
Right, well; That worked! It was crows, this time. I also got a nice capture of the small birds, generally fukking about out there. Good. Downside - but extremely valuable lesson taught - is that the cam doesn't like the sun on its face! Film was so fukking dark, if I didn't know exactly what I was looking at? There could be a dispute. Yesterdays fox, cam facing diagonally away from the sun? Crisp and colourful. Todays crows, staring straight into the winter sun? Complete fukk up. 'Black and white' footage of big lumps of birds. For my next trick? I'll have to sit the cam on the bank. Try to avoid that glare. Not today though. I have people coming.
