hello. this is my first post on this site. i hoped you could help on my new gun.(.243) i was going to build one but this would be great for me but the cost is high. i then looked at sako finnlight. or a blaser r97. i want it to shoot dear and a few fox. i have about 2000 or 2500 scope and mounts

 

if you know any good guns to look at then please let me know.

 

and scopes. in a word what is so good with noghtforce?? i use S&bender

would go for the new sako 85 stainless/synthetic .243 should put you about 1000 stg for the gun. excellent quality plus the advantages of stainless, an excellent built gun as all the sako's are, this leaves you 1500 stg for the scope and mounts.

i would also go for sako super quality very accurate indeed

as for nightforce scopes ,i personally have three of these .they are great scopes and gather a lot of light at night and a wide field of view .it really depends on what you want it for and how much you want to spend,
