.357shooter 1,403 Posted July 27, 2020 Report Share Posted July 27, 2020 well after 7 weeks off i had a phone call today and they want me back tomorrow.looks like only a couple of days work at most though.things in the engineering/ manufactunring industry are looking very bleak at the moment.heard that 4-5k applied for one job.my firm are letting people go now aswell and that does not happen untill things get really bad so i just pray things start to pick up soon.without this gov help i would have been fecked.never had anything more than 2 weeks(holiday) of at a time in 30 years working.only ever been out of a job for 4 weeks total.something of a shock to the system not doing my 40 hours a week.
