Utter failure!

I can see distance fine but using the computer or reading, especially in poor light is a drag so I use cheap readers. I considered laser treatment and read up about it - at least as far as the eyeball injection and slicing a bit of your eye off before the laser.

It's not just a long sighted thing. I also have a stigmatism meaning my brain can't synchronize the eyes so the right one ends up blurred even at distance.

Interestingly, if I go crosseyed vision is perfect! Still not conducive for good shooting!

Sometimes I wonder why I bother!

I'm seriously considering to one rifle.

It'll be a 22 or a wmr but which one I can't decide. I know I am fed up with the 452. I hate how it balances in my arms.

My heart says go get that 9422m but my head says go get the Annie!

My eyes are finished for serious rifle shooting. I'm passing on anything over 100yds these days. It was not long ago I would shoot rabbits to 150yd regularly with a 22. Not anymore. My eyes seem dim somehow. I have to stop these days and wait for my eyes to catch up! It's like a rabbit slowly appears from nowhere and I'm only less than 100yds away!

Quite fed up about it.

Sorry to depress....

I'm the same. Had laser surgery years ago which has since worn off but left me with terrible low light finish. I run dogs m9re than I shoot and had pretty much given up lamping as I was walking past stuff without seeing it and ending up frustrated with an equally frustrated dog who could see all the things I couldn't. I pretty much gave up for a season only going out if someone came with me to spot.

I bit the bullet and bought a thermal, it was vastly expensive but it allows me to get out on my own and I wouldn't be without it now.
