my mate has a bitch whipp x grey all has been going fine then all of a sudden she wont retreive

if she misses turn the lamp off whistle she is there

so he tryed her with a ball and she retreived fine no probs she was retreiving rabbits as well up till about 3 weeks ago

all she dose now is runs around the field for awhile untill he gets her

any help would be much appreciated

dont chase the dog.....turn your back and walk away from it.it should follow then swap the rabbit for somthing it likes choclate/chew....iv had suluki x's that have been a pain for it.....

have you ran the dog with another???......or is it in 'new' proximity to a new dog??

 

 

sounds very much like a possession related problem......and the psycology behind 'why she dosn't want to give the catch up'....

 

Its easy to say go back to basics.........but there there easily could be an underlaying issue that needs looking at...

As above is what i think as well,has he tried her on her own?,or even someone new going out with you can put them off.
