micky 3,325
I have been going on a Hill out Skipton way the last three weeks there are plenty of Rabbits here but to make it last I am happy with 2 or three when I go but if I wanted I could snare the Fences for a decent Bag though carrying more than three around this steep place would cause me some problems , the ground is Peat and very wet so a normal Peg will not hold so I had to use Hoops and even these have been pulled out by a Fox who has discovered free meals , this morning though a Rabbit had took the Snare to the Fence and got pulled up , The first picture is the Hoop stuck under the Fence with the dead Rabbit attached to it it was jammed up tight so I had to tug on the Hoop and snap the Wire to retrieve my dinner . the last picture is the catch circle where the fox took the Rabbit 1 Quote Link to post

EDDIE B 3,169
Very interesting micky. I remember seeing in Glenn Waters video, he used the same type hoop set up when snaring mink. Quote Link to post
