Jas1987 0
So we all have to start somewhere. I'm looking into getting a lurcher ,mainly as pet but have a few horse paddocks so also be good keeping the rabbits under control. What kind of crosses would be best for a first time lurcher owner? Any one have a dog out in the day in at night,if so how do they get on? I have a brick out building that I would have a run off and a wood box inside the out building would I need to insulate it? Thanks in advance Quote Link to post
pengelli 375
Hi jas maybe try and find some local Lurcher men and ask to tag along with them out lamping or ferreting and take it all in maybe try and get a ferret first and some purse nets and do the horse paddocks with them try and get clued up on lurchers ect and their different crosses to see what you like before you get a dog as its a big commitment training feeding ect all the best 3 Quote Link to post
