Went down river this morning looking for  mink the dogs didn’t find any but few long tails burst out of rough  on top of flood bank  one didn’t make it to water

Do you get many mink? I’ve seen them on the wharf when fishing but there usually in the middle of the river or other bank.

Think they had four this year on Aire they all ways in the piles of shit that get washed up when river floods tricky to catch if really close to water once They hit river they gone

Not many piles of rubbish on wharf if any I can think of,I will keep looking.

Big stick piles that get stuck against trees when it floods  are good spots even better if you can get a shotgun to cover the water where about on wharfe to you go my first Russell it buried on wharfe valley couple miles above  collingham

Kirby wharf it’s the stretch through Grimstone estate,it’s the Leeds book fishing stretch.

I’ve fished that section quite a few times with my dad for the barbel over the years don’t take my terriers down river there far to many otters around there young bitch will pile into anything she finds even worse if she found in a pipe

I’ve had barbel on mepps spinner on that stretch.
