I've long been interested in country pursuits and have recently come across the site after years of watching fieldsports videos on youtube, TV, and reading magazines. Sadly I haven't the money or connections to get more involved in the community as a gun, so I'm looking for some advice on getting into beating as an absolute beginner - if possible! If anyone was able to name shoots that require beaters (either private or run by a company) near Cardiff I'd be hugely grateful - I haven't had any luck finding any and would especially love to get out in the Vale of Glamorgan.
