Guest Macnas
S682 (not sure about the dl) is a clay shooting gun, and a very good one too. The newer 682's (of which the gun you're interested in is one of) have lighter barrels than the original, and could be used as a game gun I suppose. However, they are available in sporting, trap and skeet configurations, and while the sporting model would be fine for game (the skeet too for all intents and purposes) the trap model would not be best suited. mad max 40
hi thanks for both your replies ive looked on guntrader also all over the net but cant find anything on this actual model plenty of 682,s but none that are s682 dl. so ive been told the s stands for skeet and dl deluxe but cant find a price anywhere the gun in question i think is about ten years old but in good condition theres a liitle bit on the pigeon forum some one else asking about a price on one but he never got a answer either just that it was a limited edition one and i think only 500 made Quote Link to post

Not necessarily ideal for Sporting or Hunting (or any other disciplines either) GMK are UK the importers so you could have a word and see what they know, or even try Berettas website, Beretta USA could also be useful as they end up with a lot of Specials/limited editions! Guest Macnas
Nice snipe and woodcock gun though, if its not too heavy. Quote Link to post
mad max 40
it has i think 5 diffent sets of choke,s with it and the man who owned it used to shoot it on my driven days and dropped stuff with it regular but still no nearer to knowing what its worth thanks for your help hope some one else reads this and can give me a realistic price on what its worth Quote Link to post
Guest Macnas
My beretta man knew the gun and its just as your contact says, a rare limited edition. Max, nobody will know for sure what the ball-park price for one of these guns is. There is so few of them that there is no standard price to go by. The usual high end berettas, by that I mean the eell models go from 3000 to 4000 second hand, and far far more for the SO models. But because this gun can't really be stacked against the current models, the most anyone can say is that it's worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. Put it to you this way, if it fitted me and I liked it, and it was under 2000, I'd definatly buy it myself. Quote Link to post
