Some pics of my lost ferret, Coco, or fatboy as I called him. Soft as muck and playfull as hell! The kids loved him, I don't think he'd have been any good for working, but at least i've still got my jill Poppy. He had the best temprement I've ever seen in a ferret. The kids have now accepted he's gone & not likely to come back as it's been over a month now, and he hasn't been seen. Will be looking for a new hob kit next spring.

Sorry to hear that, he looks a lovely animal.

i lost one of mine years ago for over a month and had given up on him til my little sister went round to her friends house and found out her mates Dad had got him in a hutch out the back. i was made up til the bloke started saying he wasnt mine, could've got messy :boxing: but little sis just marched round there and brought him home. Nothing was ever said and the ferret settled back in just in time for the new season

Have you tried asking around? Mine had gone a good couple of miles before he got found. Good luck anyway!

Have tried setting live traps, and for the first week or so we hunted the estate every day and at night with the lamp. All the neighbours on and around the estate knew he was missing. There are a lot of dogs that wander the estate from time to time, lot's of cats and a few foxes. Believe me, I tried my best to find the little sod, and even put my ferret box in the garden stuffed with bedding. He got out of his hutch because the screw on a catch had worked loose. There's a padlock on there now. It's just time I accepted he's gone.
