Ratman2 2
well some people are paranoid about letting there kids play out & get dirty, some folks are constantly washing there kids to death and too much central heating, houses sealed up, office work in artificial environments mean a lot of people, me not included, have no resistance to anything as they see any and all bugs and germs as bad scary things. Like most bad things in life I blame city folks for it You are right in what you say. I used to dread the twice yearly visit to the outlaws, nice people but their house was totally sealed, hot and stuffy. I could never stay in the house for more than half an hour and that included a visit to the toilet even if I did'nt need to go, I just used to open the window and gulp in as much fresh air as I could. squirreltail 15
well some people are paranoid about letting there kids play out & get dirty, some folks are constantly washing there kids to death Both my kids got filthy playing out & hardly ever had anything other than the odd cold Yep youre right there.many households use this spray anti bacteria (wish there was a spray that gotrid of antis)to kill all the germs in the house, how the hell are the kids gonna gain immunity to anything.Theres even a bloody shower gel to kill all the germs on your body , where are we going.Agree also theres definately too much useage of antibiotics the health service spend millions on them, even give them out for colds to shut the patients up even though theres no cure. But even if we dont take them theyre still in the meat we buy against government advice. So of course when we need antibiotics for a deadly virus the antibiotics wont work as we ll have been dosing up our bodies with them through our food. Guest Ditch_Shitter
King and Frank; Ye not alone! I'd just settled down to await my dinner, around 20:00. No range lit last night or tonight. I glanced at my screen and there was a fly! Swatted that and shook its shattered remains onto the floor. In the next ten minutes I then caught and squashed Two individual mosquito's! FFS! Hedgehog in " December "? Perfectly acceptable, actually. Given the weather we've had of later months. And this almost warm rain is fetching the slugs out by the bucket load, as my rat boxes show. Hedgehogs don't actually hibernate, as such. Not like, eg. Dormice. They just stay in bed longer and then - on just such a night as Co. Leitrim's been having of late - they'll pop out to snatch a banquette. Then go back to bed.
