bill88 6
All bitches are different mate.My terrier bitch came into season at 7 months of age,and i have a beddyxwhippet that is almost 11 months, and hasn't come into season yet.My colliexgrey would come into season every 12 months regular as clockwork.Bitches can also be influenced by other bitches i.e. not unusual for a group of bitches kept together,to all come into season at the same time. TOMO 29,620
why get her spayed, just keep her a way from dogs when she breaks down . remember it will be at least 1 week after she breaks down befor she becomes fertile. as for bitches coming in season , it can happen at any time from 6 month onwards, i have a bitch here thats 2 1/2 year old and still has never come in season. so dont be worrying about a bitch coming in season. minion 29
cheers mate would you leave her unspayed or get her spayed,i dont intend to breed with her but does it make any diffrence I had my last lurcher spayed and it saves alot of hastle. Just make sure that you defenatly wouldn't want to breed from her. I wish that I had not had it done as I would have liked a litter out of her. Still, too late now. Don't rush into it, but if you are defenatly not breeding then go for getting her spayed. Quote Link to post
