a fence swift? or alligator lizard? i dont remember the proper name... they're damned hard to catch, and they bite like hell!!

so maybe their name is swift alligator lizard?

wolf spider - they can get rather large... but still harmless. its those dark ones that hide in the shadows you have to worry about. this one here wouldnt think twice about crawling up your leg in broad daylight!!

yes the first one is a deer... a doe actually.. when we moved out here summer before last there were bones everywhere - this is my grandparents old property - the people nextdoor were supposed to be playing "Care takers" but instead they played poachers.. thats fine though.. it isnt like deer are endangered out here!

This one was in the back yard, under a hickory tree where they no doubt strung her up for cleaning. i had enough bones to have a whole skeleton!! what a waste of meat!

i have a couple of raccoon skulls too, and one coyote - he is still a bit meaty though... might have to check out that club and its methods! my usual routine for skulls is to find and ant bed and leave it there for a while... but thats a bad idea now that i have bulldogs.. the deer in the first picture was obliterated by a stray pit bull we took into our home... all thats left now is part of the jaw bone and some teeth.. was tempting to replace the deer skull with a pit bull's.... :realmad:
