earth and hounds....free lercher

Recommended Posts

hello folks,

i replied to a post as regards a free dog..i was dubious to say the least....spoke on the phone and jason assured me the dog was 100% and he seemed a genuine bloke.i went over early this evening and sure enough he definitly new his stuff.the dog looked good.i definatly didnt want a dog with issues.so when i explained this he said if i wanted to see the dog run we could go straight away.we arrived at the ground he let it out of my van and it stuck by his side like glue.he scanned the field and saw a rabbit the dog didnt move till he told it too and sure enough the dog runs well.it was straight back to his side didnt even need calling.then the lamp started dimming.did a couple more rabbits buy this time i was very impressed .i havent seen this level of commitment from people trying to sell a dog for big money never mind a dog the man was giving away for free.cant really say much more...top genuine bloke that should be training dogs for a living.

cheers......oh and i bought his lamp and battery for very reasonable money....:thumbs::thumbs:

Thanks i was interested in the other dog but at 20 inch a bit on the small side for me,i was hoping at 6/7 month old it might have had a bit more growing to do so was after another opinion cheers..

best of luck with the dog you bought back sounds like my kind of dog.

only had the one dog like that 100% steady/obedient a dream to lamp with and i give it to leec on here...

bryn (the new hound) is settling in well. i have an akita/husky/timberwolf x and its a mean dog.hates everything.wanted to breed from it and she attacked the dog..bryn and her are best mates now, have never seem anything like it.she waits at the gate so bryn can come play....im doin 3 or 4 miles road work a day with him to harden his feet and get him ready for some running.i cant wait.just hope the grounds not frozen when i want to run him in a week or so ;)
