Welsh_red 5,084
Thanks for the reply lads had the dogs over to the hutch 1 at a time this evening and think I'll have my work cut out, they weren't going mad but gave a few snaps a well early days My big dog seems ok with them . Looks in the hutch , quick call and he's away no bother . Had a kit on the patio for few mins with him and he was ok. Interested but not to much. My worry with him is he's 9+stone and if he puts a paw down on them it will seriously hurt them . My other dog is a bitch with them . Constant attentive attention. Last week I had my adult on on my lap chilling and the big dog walked past no problem. Little sniff from distance and off he went. The little dog sat watching like a hawk and moved closer and sat watching like a hawk . She snapped at him and obviously he recoiled so I had him by one of his legs dangling the poor f****r and shoed the dog away with my foot. Put the ferret in his hutch quickly and sorted the dog out and it went into its crate sharpish. Now any attention it gives the ferret in the hutch/shed I call her away and she moves quickly. Don't think I can trust her with the ferrets if im honest. I trust the big one but I know he'll want to play with them and he'll play rough like he does with the other dog and end up snapping one of the ferrets Edited August 16, 2017 by Welsh_red Quote Link to post
