Harris Bipod

I'm after a harris 9-13" swivel bipod for my rapid. I'll try and get a bottle clamp as well simply so I don't have to drill the stock.

 

Two questions

 

1. Where's the cheapest place to buy one from? I'm thinking USA exchange rate is good

 

2. What's the difference with the notched legs between the S and the SLM (I think)? Which one's best?

The Sportsman are the importers in England so you will get a fair price from them. But your local; dealer may be able to match it.

 

The 9-13 Swivel with notched or straight legs can be found for £69.95...I think it lists for about £105. Bottle clamp will be an extra cost of course!

Unless your desperate to get a "Harris" i would have a look on American ebay, i got mine from there. i cant remember the make but its every bit as good as my mates Harris except cost less than £30 delivered as opposed to £60 plus. To get the bottla clampyou would probably be best looking in the UK though. Good luck

Unless your desperate to get a "Harris" i would have a look on American ebay, i got mine from there. i cant remember the make but its every bit as good as my mates Harris except cost less than £30 delivered as opposed to £60 plus. I suspect you mean the Rockmount Bipod. If you compare it side by side with the Harris it isn't quite as good, BUT, there is hardly anything in it and it could well be worth considering!

look on ebay there is a man has harris bipods £69.95 buy it now i was going to get 1 from the local gun shop but found thet i was saving 40 £ off rrp

Hmmm could be that one, imo there is virtually nothing in it, my buddy's Harris dosent make him shoot any better than mine does for me! To be fair though i suppose you could argue build quality but the Harris is twice the price and certainly not twice as good . i bet the rabbits cant tell the difference either
