trappa 517
I want to get into pigeon shooting this next year. My question is, are these pop up tents any good or is the netting better? There are plenty for sale in the magazines and i was wondering if anyone who has bought one could tell me pro's and cons regarding them. cheers . Ps if anyone has any cheap decoys etc for sale please get in touch. Quote Link to post
trappa 517
somebody must have some experience with the pop up tent! Quote Link to post
Hunting-top-shots 2
Hi, the pop ups are quite good if you are decoying from the front. or if you are Roost shooting under a tree. if not then there is only one sort of pop up that is any good and it is the one that looks like one of the large bales with a removable roof, if you use this one then you can shoot all round and still be hidden. you will have to be able to shoot sitting down to gain the full advantage of this pop up otherwise there is too much movement and the pigeons that follow will turn away. the best bit of kit is the net and 5 poles you can adjust and build the hides to fit any position and situation. Hunt On 0
Personally i would go for the net and poles. they are more versatile and you can go in more suitable places and you can change everything about them whenever to suit your needs. just my opinion. Quote Link to post
