Deerhound/greyhounds

Recommended Posts

I haven't had one but I'd guess you'll get a mixed bag of replies. It's not easy to pick a good deer/grey as a pup because they vary so much in how much drive and stick they have, whatever lines they're bred from.

I've got one from Irish lines and I'm happy enough with her but I know of one's from the exact same breeding that vary from fairly indifferent to mad crazy workers. Bet you don't get a more honest reply than that  .

My advice, get one mixed with a bit of something a bit sassy for more reliable results. Some will disagree but can they show you a good tough hound that'll give it a good shot?? Maybe they can and maybe they can't  .
