Leewoody 97
I wasn't here when she got hold of the ferret she kept trying and I did my best to secure them in away from her but she is a crafty one managed to head but the cage to break the bars even though I put something up to stop this happening she ripped it down. Only one came out the other stayed in my Mrs tried to get her off it but she wouldn't let go. The surviving one has been rehomed now so I won't have this problem again. My Mrs also has a chihuahua not much bigger then a ferret she's had a good go on her a few times 1 Quote Link to post

Penda 3,366
Breaking terriers to ferrets is child's play .Pups love to play rough with ferrets ,Years ago I kept ferrets in an aviary after the birds died and several terriers at the time used to scratch at the door to be let in to have a good old tumble ,unsupervised too.To allow a terrier access to ferrets without the young introduction is the mark of an idiot .not being funny mate but you can't just say mark of an idiot just because a young dog hasn't been introduced to ferrets i know lads who had terriers that were bomb proof round ferrets the minute they had a dig or two they weren't so keen on not a lot you can do about that I'm afraid you can read all the books you want but that ain't Gona propare you for real life and accidents happen in life it's not like the lad went out of his way to kill a ferret with his dog Quote Link to post
