Welsh_red 5,138
A friend of mine has moved to Nottingham for work. He's been shooting clays with me once before and fancied applying for a shotgun license and doing clay pidgeon up there. Does anybody have any recommendations of clubs up there and what the prices are roughly . I only pay 60 quid for a year ,round here which I reckon is incredibly cheap. Born Hunter 18,030
I'm not much of a clay shooter but here's a few in the area. http://www.orston.com/ - probably one of the most professional in the area, had a rep of being clique but good reviews under the new owners. http://www.cockettfarm.com/ - got all the disciplines and nice enough place. http://www.eastmidlandsg.com/ - cheap and simple. http://lakesidesporting.com/ - lovely relaxing clubhouse setting. Pay per clay and trap ya self. http://www.borderswood.co.uk/claypigeonshooting.html - my favourite but not a club, only do 100 bird sporting but really nice woodland ground and more of a clayground for game shooters.
