Aussie Whip 4,367
Started hunting a new area on a large property I hunt.Netted a couple of warrens and the rabbits instead of flying into the nets just hopped in and sat quietly.Didn't net the next 2 holes and rabbits didn't even try to escape the dogs. The rabbits looked wild and were in a remote area,so I doubt they were domestic, although they were big an fat.Next warren back to normal. It was a successful day but left me feeling sorry for the quiet rabbits.Anyone experienced this or any ideas on this behaviour. The one 8,600
Sometimes get that I think it's where the rabbits haven't seen a ferret before you go onto ground that's been ferreted before they are out and off like rockets 1 Quote Link to post
