Yeh it's nice to have seen stuff like that, I moved to here from another part of the county only about twenty miles away, about eight years ago . Until the move though, I'd never seen a Cuckoo in the flesh, I know where they are every year now and what I would really like is to get a shot of one next year..........fingers and everything else crossed :laugh:

I will mention that they are nice looking birds, ive seen them up close a handful of times.

They are fast runners on the ground and only seem to fly if your right on top of them.

Also they are real masters of camouflage, when startled they disappear in relatively short grass.
