For Sale Air Arms Prosport .177

I have for sale an Air Arms Prosport .177.

It comes with an AGS 3-9x40 duplex scope that suits it very well.

I bought this used, a few weeks ago to try one and, I wasn't disappointed - it shoots very sweet. I very nearly decided to keep this and sell my TX. I'm keeping the TX because I really want a .22 springer.

 

I gave it a good strip, clean and regrease.

It came with a tuning kit already fitted - this gives it a nice fast, but not snappy, firing cycle.

 

It's favourite pellets seem to be FAPs 7.33gn. With these, it's currently running at around 800fps / 10.4ftlb.

 

This is a rifle that's been used, enjoyed and looked after.

The barrel shroud has a few small dings and some very small surface rust spots.

The shroud has been cleaned and oiled and, for now, covered in a non stick camo tape that is easy to remove.

 

The Beech stock has been refinished. The dark brown colouring and lacquer have been removed. It has then been finished to show more of the natural grain.

 

The underlever is faultless. It's solid and positive to use. It returns axactly as it should to the underside of the stock.

In fact, I could find no fault with the inner workings or the shot cycle. It really is very nice to use.

 

It will also come with a brown leather sling and swivels, as pictured.

No bag though - Sorry.

 

I'm happy to deliver/meet within 50 miles of SN25 or, I can post at your cost.
