New to this game and need some guidence.

I have a beddy/whippet and a saluki/greyhound.

I need somebody to take me out for a shine, the beddy whippet is now 7 months and i was hoping that someone would let us come and watch thier dogs work to help her get the idea of what she should be doing.she is catching rabbits day time out walking (2 now both mixi) in the forrest.

problem is like most newbies i dont have anyone to show to show me how. i live in the fens in norfolk not to far from cambridge. i have transport and can travel.

can anyone help please.

With a bit of luck someone will show you the ropes but when there is nobody you have to do it like me...just try it out, play around with tennis balls and the lamp and try to find the ideal place with easy rabbits and keep on practising...read some posts with tips from here...

I know the feeling mate, i too was left to vend for myself, but that can be good.

I trained my lurcher on the lamp in the back garden to start off with. Made a dummy fron rabbit skin, once she was bringing back the dummy day time i started to throw the dummy down the garden during darkness and shine the lamp on it, she soon copped on what was expected off her, its hard but you will get here.
