ferret muzzel

Recommended Posts

hi all i have a albeno jill but every time i go out to do some ferreting she is killing rabbits down the holes i have fed her before going out but she still kills i whas thinking of puting a muzzel on her

ther are no rats or mink wher i work them will this be ok thanks

my other ferrets are ok :hmm:

i wouldnt personally, dont like the idea of them starving while surrounded by food if they got lost. i've never lost a ferret but it would still bother me.

it might also help starting very early in the morning (first light), i find they bolt better then so she shouldnt get a chance to kill, also be very quiet and keep all the gear out the way so theres no reason for them to turn back and face the ferret.

Good luck!

Personally, I wouldn't, it's still possible she could meet something nasty, and not be able to defend herself, and if she escaped, it would be a slow painfull death for her.
