keepitcovert 842 Posted February 9, 2016 Report Share Posted February 9, 2016 Took the mutts for a run late evening tonight, lurcher flushed a rabbit which she chased into some hedging round some offices, she then flushed it and coursed it across some waste land always within 3 feet of it as it twisted and turned, suddenly i heard shrieking and shouting as it went through the smokers corner and half a dozen women stood and watched, gaspers in hand. The dog shot over a little mound out of sight and when i went round saw her with her head down a rabbit hole, went over to her to find she had grabbed its backside and was trying to drag it out which she managed to do after a minute of hard pulling. Stuffed it in my coat and put the dogs on leads, and cleared off before anyone came nosing around., as i passed the smoking shed two women said that was a lucky rabbit to get away, yes it was i said, little do you know i was thinking to myself.
