stevoman 4 Posted November 26, 2007 Report Share Posted November 26, 2007 well folks. im looking to invest in a new pair of gloves for when my proper ferreting season kicks off in january. i will be rooting through a lot of briors and i need something that will protect my hands but at the same time give me enough feeling in my fingers to work the nets and untangle them. whay whould you lads recomend? thanks stevo Quote Link to post

Approach the warren,.kick away the debris,.flick the net over the burrow,..stand well back behind,..and wait for the bolt.. Don't 'play around' with the bramble or blackthorn,.just lay your net,....QUICKLY..... All the best,.CHALKWARREN... You stick to your kicking and flicking CHALKWARREN ! i will stick to my clearing less debris round the hole means less chance the net does not purse correctly , Each to there own though .
