gloves for ferreting

well folks. im looking to invest in a new pair of gloves for when my proper ferreting season kicks off in january. i will be rooting through a lot of briors and i need something that will protect my hands but at the same time give me enough feeling in my fingers to work the nets and untangle them. whay whould you lads recomend?

u can get some real thin perfect fot gloves we use them at work they would be ideal i reckon

Fair enough useing some gloves for clearing rubbish from around the holes , But i wouldnt bother when un netting rabbits or setting nets . a couple of quid pair of leather ones from the gardening centre should do you fine .

Approach the warren,.kick away the debris,.flick the net over the burrow,..stand well back behind,..and wait for the bolt..

 

Don't 'play around' with the bramble or blackthorn,.just lay your net,....QUICKLY..... :laugh::laugh:

You stick to your kicking and flicking CHALKWARREN ! i will stick to my clearing :) less debris round the hole means less chance the net does not purse correctly , Each to there own though .
