RickA 0
Hello everyone, I posted an introduction and question in the new members section and it was suggested that I ask my question over here as well since it concerns those of you who trap. My name is Rick Ault and I'm from Nebraska in the U.S. My son is stationed in Lakenheath at the AFB and I am planning on visiting over Christmas. One of the things I enjoy most in life besides trapping, wildfowling, and big game hunting is meeting others who enjoy the tradition as well. I was hoping it would be possible to meet up with someone on my trip to learn more about the ways folks in the UK trap and hunt. I know that your laws are vastly different from those in the states and thought it would be enjoyable to tag along with someone as they run their traps or do whatever it is you do to enjoy these traditions. If anyone is interested in showing a guy the ropes in England let me know. At home I enjoy trapping raccoons, bobcats, coyotes, fox and of course the usual opossums and skunks that tend to clog up your sets. In the fall, I hunt ducks and geese and love to spend my time in the spring turkey hunting and fishing for bluegills, crappies, and yellow bass. Thanks for your time, Rick Quote Link to post
