Weirhauch Hw90 Vs Impact Airguns Rm100

Help!

I am looking to buy a gas ram rifle (sub FAC) at .22 and initially had my mind set on the HW90. As I am also a bit particular (notice the paraphasing there) about buying British I am debating about the RM100.

Any views, comments, observations and advice would be most welcome.

Saw the topic. Not read the post. RM100... Whatever your asking, RM100 :) I'm planning on getting one.

The 90's are a bit wank mate. I think. It was HW's idea of getting into GS systems, the outer shell wanted to be a spring set up, the inner wanted a different outer. The two were always wrong for each other.

The RM100 was built for the system.

Now then Rez

I was looking at your team line up which looks similar to my team set up.

So where dose the gas ram rifle fit into the team, just wondered as I don't know much about the way the gas rams shoot. I am just missing a light break barrel at the moment.

It wouldn't, I'd have to flog something I guess. If you shoot springers and move onto a GS system, then go back, I've found I can't hit a barn door personally. Using the techniques for spring rifle shooting with a gas system just doesn't work even though the principles are some what 'similar' on a visual level. I couldn't really get my groups tighter than an inch or two with my old Fenman, but was shooting it like I do my 97 and previous springers. If I do go the gas system route, I'd have to get rid of the springers as the two techniques are hard to keep in trim, especially when shooting them both every weekend. It just confuses the techniques, as mentioned, the techniques are similar but to get the accuracy out of the gas ram rifles you have to fully committed to that set up.

But if I did, I would go for the RM100 in twenty two. That and my HM is the long term plan.
