Casso 1,256 Posted November 2, 2015 Report Share Posted November 2, 2015 Higgins has a good insight into the gundogs mind, he has also twigged that the prey controls the predator , he starts a lot of them very young which works for him because he doesn't work on commands or come into conflict with a pup at that sensitive stage, he uses the pups inate ability to hunt as a way of socialising it , He's smart the way he sets up scenarios where the dogs only option is to stop itself to gain access to prey, he clued up where it comes to why a dog does what it does, he has a theory and sticks with it 1 Quote Link to post
