If I'm right but might be wrong. If the hunts in Scotland they are allowed to use the pack of hounds only if the huntsman or other have the guns. Just what I heard. If they don't have guns anti's will gather but if they do have the guns, the filth they will stop any demonstration gathering

In Scotland we can use a full pack to flush to guns, you have to have at least two guns in place. The antis expect to see guns pegged out like with driven pheasants so if you're looking at a covert they think that the covert should be surrounded by guns. The reality is the guns are placed strategically, nine times out of ten a fox will leave covert along a hedge line, run a ditch or head to a known refuse so the most efficient method is to place a gun in one of those positions quite likely the gun will be in drab or even cammo clothing so the sabs are shouting that it's illegal hunting simply because they don't have the field craft or knowledge to realise this and therefore they don't spot the guns out.

 

The irony is that the LACS and the hunt saboteurs are actually complaining that there aren't enough guns out ergo not enough foxes are getting killed! Personally I think if you place three or four guns around two hundred acres of woodland one or two foxes may well slip out without getting shot and that's fine with me but the antis claim this to be illegal and they are moaning that not enough guns are out so not enough foxes are being killed it's utter madness but at least it proves they have zero interest in animal welfare.

 

I love to see the fox get away and live for another day before the ban this would have been decided on his merits we all know the healthy fit fox makes a mockery of a pack of hounds which in turn in a well managed hunt country leads to a healthy sustainable population it's beggars belief that those that are against are complaining that not enough for foxes are getting shot.
