Cut back. Keep clean

What about the same toe opposite foot looks swelled or is that old callusing?

Don't know what callusing means ross ? But if it is an older injury then yes. Doesn't affect his running mate.

It sounds easy mate but would I really just be better going the vet tomorow just to be on the safe side. I ain't got no meticalm or loxi??? at hand just a course of antibiotics.

Vet prescribed Trim 480mg combined and Carprox 100mg. Told me the nail is half on half on and he cannot take it off yet. There is a bit of an infection. Reckons it could fall off by the time I got to take him back Tuesday, if not he will whip it off.

I will be watching how he does it, so if it happens again, I will be better prepared.

Thanks for the replies, will let him rest up and recover. Won't know what to do with myelf for a while, suppose I can get the fishing rods out for some September Bass!
