Recommended Posts

Taking a walk around the local carp ponds today I came across this sign.

I had never heard of the Topmouth Gudgeon so had a little search when I got home. They are real bad news.

Had them at a fishery near me, used to be a cracking place but I think they had to shut it down for a couple of years while they sorted these things out. I no it's open again now but I don't think the fishings the same. It was called ratherheath tarn if anybody in Cumbria knows any better?
