Is there any sort of time of day or areas that are best to see them in? Like type of plant, sunny spots, shady spots, time of day etc? The grey ones are mainly seen on the rocks or rocky paths, the green ones among the grass and plants, which makes sense. I see them at all times of day, but mainly when I'm walking the dogs on the morning. In the spring the young ones come into the house very often.
