My mark II ferret finder has started reading at the top end of the depth scale, tried different collers, changed the batteries etc and still doing the same, do any of you guys know what could be wrong or does it have to be sent back to Deben to be sorted out, any help kindly appreciated, Dave

Hi Dave I got a mk two myself no collar mate tried it with his mk one collar and this one does the same as you say was going to try and get one but they seem to be hard to come by tell us how you get on if it's broke I may just get another

yeh, this one is like new. but just stays at the top end

Katchum if you hear of anyone selling a mk2 collar send us a post had box six month now no good with out a collar though like u say rocking horse shit!

The reason the MK2 collars are rare is because the MK2 was rubbish, picks up mesh fencing, bits of old plough, water pipes Do your self a favour and get a MK3 or MK1, had a MK2, best thing about it was it breaking down, or I'd still be stuggling with it now

Yes I heard that to stealthy looks like I will get a new one is there any other make that is any good or have deben got the market sewn up.

Sorry to say that Deben have it sewn up, the MK3m is a good locator, or have a punt at a MK1, they'll both find and track your ferrets.
