Guest traceyg Posted November 15, 2007 Report Share Posted November 15, 2007 advise needed my 13 year old son is going mad for a harris hawk for hunting .he lives for his dogs and rabbiting his dad takes him out whenever he gets chance. but a friend took him out with his bird and he is hooked to say he is 13 he is very responsible but how much work is involved Quote Link to post Share on other sites
harddigging 42 Posted November 16, 2007 Report Share Posted November 16, 2007 let the freind keep taking him out for a few seasons see if he stays interested in another year or so girls are going to start coming into the equation and whats going to happen to birdie then has mum and dad got a new bird they do need a hell of alot of time spending on them to get them good its like a dog you get out what you put in but its easyer to spend time with a dog if you dont feel up to much just bring them in the house and watch telly with them your still spending time with them with a bird its alot harder to fit them into your daily life.
