The Sporting Whippet Club of NI Dog Show and Race day Sunday 9^th August 15 at Dunsilly Kennells, Antrim.

What a really nice relaxing day we had in the sunshine at The Sporting Whippet Club of NI Show and Raceday at Dunsilly Kennells, Co Antrim Sunday 9^th August 15. The sun shone in abundance and the craic was excellent. It was nice to see good weather for a change at Dunsilly this year.

The weather certainly brought out the Whippet people, with forty Whippets passing through the ring on Sunday. Again this month, some proud owners with top class whippets, who brought home a display of trophies for the cabinet.

Grading started at approximately 12.45pm, Followed by showing, and racing completed after the showing.

Dunsilly is a superb venue for our Whippet shows, and all our thanks goes out to Victor Mc Donald , owner of Dunsilly, for allowing the club to have their shows at this stunning piece of heaven in the County Antrim Countryside.

And Finally, Finally, many thanks to our Chairman, Paul Reynolds, Patsy Mc Coy , racing manager, Sporting Whippet Club, and his most efficient assistants Carol Hill and Brian Crothers , and all their brilliant committee, for a great days showing and racing. The racing went like clockwork, and was a credit to all involved. Without good team work this could not have happened. Well done Patsy and Carol and all involved.
