Very nice pics indeed.

I once bolted a short eared owl out of an earth with a terrier and he just flew up into a tree and sat there watching the dogs and I for several minutes.

great pictures,nice to see the owls still about,my favourite was always the barn owl.wonderful to watch them hunting in day light,still hear tawnys in the woods round us,found a dead little owl afew months ago .lying at the foot of a dry stone wall,hopefully on the come back.
