random 659
Don't know what did of deal you should expect just wanted to comment on how nice that stock looks and wondered why you can't get on with it as there is a scoop cut out to allow a thumbs up position? 1 Quote Link to post
VWman 232
Hello bigmac That stock looks great, is it a AA stock or an aftermarket stock. Just for my future reference. I think this tool could be a good choice for me in the fullness of time. 1 Quote Link to post
bigmac 97kt 13,836
Its an after market stock as far as i no you go along pick the wood you want and he makes it for you then re-leaves you of £250 Random its a thumb hole mate and even with thumb up it dose not feel right to me im a sporter stock man all the way and i think £200 plus sporter stock is a fare deal what you lot think atvbmac  Quote Link to post
Dr B 186
Thumbhole stocks are a personal thing. Some I don't like in the shoulder, some I do. The standard AA one is really good for instance, so no need for me to go after-market. I do find them to be more accurate and noticeably so at 30-40yds but that's just me. I did have to play with the butt-plate to get it in a sweet spot, but once done - fab! Having said all this, my sporter stock is amazing as well - and easier to handle in the field but its horses for courses and all that. I like having both and having the options for different jobs. Good luck with it Mac.... Edited June 13, 2015 by Dr B Quote Link to post
