I think foxbolter is refering to me andykllhr. I think if foxbolter was in the same position as i was in then hunting in anyway with or without a bad leg and supporting a sport that you love but have limited way of doing it is better than not doing any hunting and let all the biggots in this world ban it completley. As for shooting them at night..????? Does it matter as long as the job gets done...you must be an able bodied hunter that can still do the things you are passionate about. If you had a leg taken away or rendered useless would you stop your hunting or would you adapt and find a way of still controlling vermin??????

Andykllhr if you would like details of a place or two to go and shoot just inbox e for a 1 2 1 and i will try to help you out

Andykllhr Just cause ur leg is feckt you going to spoil all proper hunting now for men with their dogs what your doing now aint sport in my eyes the high number of rabbits ect you will shoot in a night is stupid and dont tell me vermin contol because they not harming you

Am I missing something here? He can't shoot rabbits because you don't agree with it but it's fine for you to run your dogs. Get over yourself.

All the technology in the world won't make any difference without fieldcraft, however, most shooters are there to aid with vermin population control, it's just a happy coincidence that it's also sport and we enjoy it. I appreciate your point about wiping out the local rabbit population but one man with a rifle once or twice a week on a large area of land is in no danger of doing this, even Myxomatosis hasn't accomplished this feat and that's biological warfare.
