Can anyone help I am looking for a few grey partridge eggs, to put under hens / bantams I am not looking for loads, but want to release some on ground around my house, not to be shot, just to try and establish some small breeding stock, as we are devoid of them and have been for,the last ten yr or so,I hit the vermin hard every yr, and are starting to see more and more pheasant and duck nests get away, but there's simply no breeding stock of greys to breed from it seems,I tried buying on line to no avail, ideally someone in the Cumbria area would be good, to avoid posting eggs, if anyone could point me in right direction would be good.

try your local game farm or last resort ebay, you need to kill off all french/red legs 1st (better done in season tho.)

Cheers mate I really don't have any reds to worry about, there's a pair right over on the far boundary,
