Mr Wilkes 3,163
My heart....ive always longed for a .22 HW77k, so i recently bought one. The gun is everything ive been told about them..accurate, beautiful and well made ..BUT..i should have tried one before i bought one. i didnt realise that the gun coupled with a scope and lamp would be too heavy for pencil neck like myself !. Lesson learned, Never mind. Im sure Weihrauch will have something a little lighter. 1 Quote Link to post
bhodge 4
It's got a very bad press (totally unjustified), but the HW57 is very lightweight for an underlever Springer. Sells for around £270 New, £170 second hand. I had one, excellent guns. Quote Link to post

VWman 232
Hello Rick it was nice to meet you and thanks again for the HW77. I hope you get a chance to check out the HW99 which is the light weight choice of full power springers. Quote Link to post
Mr Wilkes 3,163
Likewise Mike, hope you enjoy her. I spoke to Tony at Sfs and I'm ordering a Imp which is a 99s with a bit of loving put into it .lol. I think that will suite me better. Quote Link to post

That's great Rick The imp was on my short list and from the man himself, will you be going down in person. I would say that is a result for both of us. 1 Quote Link to post
Mr Wilkes 3,163
Yes I'll be picking it up, it would cost £15 to send it to my RFD who would then charge £25 to complete the transaction. Quote Link to post

VWman 232
All mine were heart. It's where the love starts I plinked all my short list and the HW 77 Just fit me real good, I had been using a 97 for a couple of weeks which I think tipped me towards the HW's. It's new in the box but got a slip for it after work so it will be on the farm tomorrow. I am sure it will be the first of many but think it will be a keeper. Quote Link to post
