bird 10,015 Posted February 25, 2015 Report Share Posted February 25, 2015 another good night again , weather wasn't to good was warm and rain didn't come in until 3 30 am.was quite hard going in some of the fields , one had bloody big hill on it that got me blowing abit, not spring chicken no more lol, think jon got spring in his feet the speed he moves, whish I was his age again lol Dogs ran great Buster done some great squatters , and Buck had couple .There retrieving was good as normal, Buck had cracker one rabbit was the other end if field, I said to jon (if) he catches this it will be great retrieve from that distance ,he got it and brought it right in to us , holding the rabbit up in the air , he stand about 5 ft from you with rabbit brill .and really never done much retrieve work with him, only do stay+wait with him nothing in his mouth just lots of recall . So good night got 26 rabbits , keeping the dogs ticking over for couple more trips we going to do . jon took pics and prob bit better lol 1 Quote Link to post
