matt1979 766
If anyone is looking for a stud dog in he future and after a Beddie x grey type, my old man is looking to get a pup of his dog below. The dog is now coming upto 8 and caught consistently for several seasons. He is only looking to stud for a pup of this dog. Dog has his faults in honesty, coat isn't great (linty) but his commitment and catch rate is excellent. My old man has kept lurchers for 40 odd years and wouldn't breed the dog if he didn't rate it. Sure he would be happy to take whoever out I see the dog work. He is looking for a racey type bitch around the same size 23tts that has done the business in the field. I know it's a long shot but anyone planning a litter and after this type of stud get in touch cheers. Will attach some pics below atb Quote Link to post

matt1979 766
Should have added the line of lurchers this dog is from can be traced back by my dad for about 30 years to his old track greyhound so he knows the breeding well. Unfortunately no suitable or known bitches locally to use hence the request atb Quote Link to post

matt1979 766
Cheers fellas he is a good honest dog who I feel has proven himself and it would be a shame to not get a pup off him, but time is ticking when they get to his age atb Quote Link to post

tank34 2,559
Can you not find a bitch out of same lines mate,he looks well good luck mate Quote Link to post
matt1979 766
Tank ideally yes we would but their isn't really a suitable bitch available. My dad hasn't bred a lurcher since the 80s, we got this dog off a lad who had a dog off my dad back in the 80s and kept the blood in his dogs if that makes senses I not really a line as such. His bitch is now 10+ and his other bitch is only 3 not really proven, so would prefer something more proven and of similar breeding atb Quote Link to post
matt1979 766
Those photos are a couple of years ago now but looks much the same and still working well but beginning to creek. He is primarily a bunny dog but has regularly taken other legal game cheers Quote Link to post
