johnrthrfrd 223
Decided to have a walk on a bit local perm not a lot on it so just took dog and a good old steady jill in me inside pocket just wondered down a couple of hedges letting the owld girl work the sets at her own pace she flushed 6bunnies dog got 4 all does all with young inside them the seasons are getting shorter and shorter infact don't think there's such a thing now they just seem to be breeding all year round. On me other local perm mixi just keeps popping up cold doesent seem to stop it we need a good few weeks freezing snow bound conditions like the owld days to sort things out. Cheers lads from a owld fart that remembers when we had proper seasons wonder if they will ever come back don't think so. 3 Quote Link to post
Chicken_man 1,651
Changed days eh? Going out this Fri coming, on some high ground. See if that makes a difference or not. Had a couple of mixi last week, which surprised me and my pal a bit. Will see how we get on, might be last time this season. Regards, Another old fart :-) Quote Link to post

And they are very fit rabbits usually, put up a bit of a scrap. Got a decent Hob that can shift em, or stick with em though. We'll av em out. Taking a lad with us this time :-) We shall make him the pack horse, he has to learn :-) Atb 2 Quote Link to post

Was good to watch. Had a wee gill with me today (untried), she did good, not bothered about guns, and followed rabbit out right behind it, pushing em on. I like to see that. Out tomorrow for a couple hrs, dogs and ferrets. Have a good en at the lamping. Atb :-) Quote Link to post
