New Ferrets Question

Picking up a couple of ferrets tomorrow just finished off the court and attached indoor bit in the old chicken shed I had down the bottom of the garden, will post some pics tom in day light. My question is would you give the new ferrets access to the run straight away or keep them in the indoor section which is about 5x5 plus 3x1 sleep box, not really I big issue either way I suppose but thought I would ask those with more experience with ferrets cheers

let them have the run of the whole thing as ferrets love to explore just make sure it is all ferret proof as if its not they will find a way out in double quick time all the best of luck phill

Let them have access to the lot straight away mate so hopefully they will crap in the run in the furthest corner from there bed area

Will post some up tomorrow when the run is finished. Kept them in tonight as didn't get them until late on. They have plenty of room in the shed set up and it seems ferret proof after a few adjustments, last I checked they were fast asleep in one Of my old coats, they seem friendly enough, whether they work remains to be seen atb

give them the run , they'll use it if they want to , but with the cold weather they are more likely just to huddle together in the sleeping compartment for the majority of the time anyway.

Haven't managed to get the run fully sorted yet but they have plenty of room inside the shed for a couple of days and natural light. They have spent the majority of time in the sleeping box fast asleep, friendly little things atb
