tomburras 2,730
Looks a great set up. I just finnished putting a Nv kit together and had a couple of trips with it and it is talking some getting used to! I'm struggling a little bit with range estimation as I can only see on the screen what the scope has magnified. Verry handy bit of kit tho. On mine I used a t20 ir with a doubler and the doubler made a huge difference. Good luck with it I bet they are great once you are used to them! I no what you mean it is difficult to estimate distance with them but just got to get used to it lads like vm have used them for a while now and they get good results with there's. If i cant ill use it as a lay in wait rifle, ill pace out the zero,d distance and wack them that way lol atvbmac  Yes I thought same, but I prefer to wander that lay out. I'll get there lol I will keep the ranges down until I'm used to it. Also got to remember a small hand torch for filling mags and things. 1 Quote Link to post
the big chief 3,099
I agree with vm with the ir mac it does take some getting used to at 1st but once you have figured out the range I new when I was in range as the rabbit would be a certain size its hard at 1st because you have no reference points but I got a tip just put some rabbit size object at different ranges and plink away worked a treat mate 1 Quote Link to post
