Not that I would trust them 100% but they really are great with her. Brings me back a few years pics like this,i remember taking my daughter along on a ferreting trip with the lurcher,about 25 years ago,a valley above Addingham was the location,nets set,ferret entered and 4 year old daughter left to hold the lurcher,rabbits bolting and the ones that missed webs were left to run again,the lurcher never even flinched whilst the young lass held it,the dog had the uncanny nous to know not to pull while she held it,totally uncanny and perceptive of our trusted companion,s.The same day the dog accounted for a good gallop on an hare,it retrieved it straight back to my daughter rather than me that worked the mutt for many a season,again uncanny as this dog would steer well away from anybody but me.The mutts earn our trust in the most unusual of ways at times. 2 Quote Link to post
