Rez 4,961
Ok. So. Having two HW's with the kit in, I'm now thinking about adding one to my Pro Sport. In the HW rifles, it's sound, it makes the rifles something else as some might know from my previous posts about them. I love the shooting process of the pro sport, it's slow, compared to the other two, and rather predictable, thus making it very accurate, and as long as I follow through, it's dead on, literally. However, not one to miss a trick, and if there is a possibility of making it a better rifle, I'll look into it. What I don't want to do is stick the kit in and basically have what feels like my 97 in a Pro Sport costume, if you know what I mean. I want to keep that 'Pro Sport' vibe that it has, or there was not point getting it. I want it to sound the same, feel the same, just be better internally (as another question, what's the deal with the piston weight inside? And why is it taken out when fitting the v-mack kit?). I know there very good from the box, before I hear all that jib, but I hear that the PS does benefit from a kit, particularly the v Mach and I know they are good first hand. On the other hand, I could just strip and polish, but I wondering what those that have done this, whether it be v-mashed or just a clean and polish have though? The HW's have a faster lock time now, sharp perhaps, and I like the PS for its slower nudge, as I have mentioned, it feels like a PCP compared to the other two HW's, but no more accurate... Yet. It's isn't really broken in either, I'll stick a couple if tins through it first, but thinking ahead here. Thoughts please fellow members Edited November 19, 2014 by Rez 1 Quote Link to post
